A warming herbal tea blend from Sage & Stone Apothecary, crafted with four organic botanicals traditionally used in women’s wellness and nourishing herbal traditions. Available in six sizes from 1.5oz to 16oz. Packaged by bag size, not weight.

Key Ingredients

  • Organic Nettle (Urtica dioica) — One of the most widely used nutritive herbs in European and Western herbal traditions, valued for its rich mineral content and long history of use in nourishing tonics and women’s wellness formulas.
  • Organic Schisandra Berries (Schisandra chinensis) — A revered adaptogenic berry in traditional Chinese medicine, known as Wu Wei Zi (“Five Flavor Fruit”) for its unique combination of all five flavors. One of the most important Rasayana-equivalent herbs in TCM, used for centuries in tonifying and restorative formulas.
  • Organic Rose Hips (Rosa canina) — The fruit of the rose plant, exceptionally rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants. Widely used in European and Ayurvedic herbal traditions in nourishing and restorative preparations.
  • Organic Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale) — A foundational warming spice with thousands of years of use in Ayurvedic, Chinese, and Western herbal traditions, widely included in digestive and circulatory botanical formulas.

TCM Element Alignment

  • Water Element — Schisandra Berries, Nettle: In traditional Chinese medicine, the Water element governs the kidney-adrenal system and the body’s deepest reserves of vitality and essence (Jing). Schisandra is one of TCM’s premier kidney-tonifying herbs, and Nettle’s deeply nourishing, mineral-rich character aligns with Water’s replenishing, restorative qualities.
  • Wood Element — Rose Hips, Schisandra: The Wood element governs the liver system and the smooth flow of qi and blood. Rose Hips’ antioxidant richness and Schisandra’s liver-protective reputation in TCM align with Wood’s association with renewal, vitality, and the liver’s role in nourishing the blood.
  • Earth Element — Ginger Root: The Earth element governs the spleen-stomach system and the body’s digestive center. Warming, grounding Ginger is one of TCM’s most important herbs for supporting the Earth element’s centering and nourishing functions.

How to Brew

  1. Add 1–2 teaspoons of tea to 8oz of boiling water.
  2. Steep for 5–7 minutes.
  3. For best results, use filtered water.
